nfl playoff scheduleUPDATED JANUARY 18, 2013: FINAL NFL PLAYOFF GAMES

The 49ers-Falcons NFC Championship Game is Sunday at 3 p.m. EST and the Ravens-Patriots AFC Championship Game is Sunday at 6:30 p.m. EST. These games can’t be watched online, but you can follow NFL football hashtags on Twitter to get the latest news from the games.

We just added the NFL playoff bracket so you can see how all the games stack-up. Additionally, be sure to check back after the games are played to see which NFL football teams move closer to playing in the Super Bowl XLVII.

Nothing tackles the post-holiday blues like the NFL playoffs. The NFL playoff schedule is set, and the networks will let you watch NFL playoffs online for free during certain select games.  Why are the TV networks suddenly webcasting big NFL playoff games free of charge? To sell more ads, of course – this year’s CBS Sports Super Bowl online ads sold out almost completely by early December, while there are still some TV broadcast spots available.  Several big playoff games along with a Super Bowl XLVII New Orleans will liven up your dull January – even if the weather is awful or your local NFL team or favorite college football team just had another terrible season.

Save And Watch Your Favorite Playoff Videos

Download your favorite NFL videos online and save them in your personal video cloud. Then you can watch the video on your phone, tablet, and even TV.

Free and legal NFL livestreams are not available for all games in the 2013 NFL playoff brackets. Two games during Wild Card weekend will be available for free online, though, and in high-definition (HD). You can also watch the Super Bowl online for free, or catch the 2013 Pro Bowl online. Each of these games is also available for Verizon smartphone and tablet users through NFL Mobile.

NFL WILD CARD GAMES ONLINE: BENGALS-TEXANS AND VIKINGS-PACKERS

On Wild Card Weekend, NBC Sports will livestream a Saturday double-header of both Wild Card games scheduled for Saturday, January 5, 2013. The NFL playoffs kick off with the Cincinnati Bengals vs. Houston Texans at 4:30 p.m. EST, followed immediately by Minnesota Vikings vs. Green Bay Packers at 8 p.m. EST. Both games will be shown online for free at NBC Sports and at NFL.com

Fortunately for football fans, NBC Sports’ live playoff webcasts will feature the same reliable stream and interactive multiple camera-angle experience as last year’s record-setting Super Bowl webcast and this year’s Sunday Night Football online streams. Unfortunately for football fans, these are the only legal, sanctioned live NFL game video streams online until the Super Bowl on February 3, 2013.

WATCH NFL PLAYOFFS ON A PHONE OR TABLET

Fans can also watch the Wild Card games and Super Bowl webcasts on a tablet or smartphone – but only if you’re a Verizon subscriber, and only if you have the paid NFL Mobile app. That premium app would cost $5 for the month-long duration of the NFL playoffs, though a free version is available for all carriers without the live game video streams (Verizon customers get access to audio streams of all NFL games – even the playoffs – for free.) If you’re not a Verizon subscriber, you’re free to buy the app – but you won’t get live video.  If you are a Verizon subscriber, your $5 one-month subscription only gets you live video of two Wild Card games, the Super Bowl ,and the Pro Bowl — but you do also get live, 24/7 video access to the NFL Network.

PRO BOWL LIVE ONLINE

The Pro Bowl is being played the week before the Super Bowl, on Sunday, January 27, 2013 at 8 p.m. EST. The game will not be shown online, but NBC Sports will provide a free live audio feed of the annual NFL all-star game.

Who are your Super Bowl picks? Have you used the NFL Mobile app to watch games? Shout out your audibles in the comments section below.

1 please fix it January 3, 2013 at 7:22 pm

It constantly glitches out and won’t let me convert files…it says that I need to buy the expensive premium new version to convert downloaded videos, but that’s not what your website says…please fix this problem. Realplayer used to work fine, but you all did something that screwed it up. please help clean your mess.

2 RealPlayer January 4, 2013 at 2:38 pm

You shouldn’t need RealPlayer Plus to do some basic converting of files. If you want to do more advance conversions, then you would need RealPlayer Plus. Please contact customer support at: https://real.custhelp.com/app/contact so we can help solve the issue.
