RealPlayer and UNIX

RealPlayer 10 for Linux can be used as a media player with UNIX systems. It supports all the media file types supported by the Helix Player plus mp3, unprotected mp4 audio, and Flash 4 files. The player is not limited to pure open source technologies and does not offer many of the features found in RealPlayer for Windows. To run the player you will need Mac OS X 10.5.8 or later, an Intel processor, 2GB of RAM, and a broadband Internet connection. The Helix Player only supports pure open source technologies.
