RealPlayer: Simple Video Editing

Capture only what you need.

Sometimes you just want to send the funniest or most interesting part of a video. Use RealPlayer’s simple video editing feature to keep only the key part of a clip—the winning goal, your friend’s reaction at a surprise party, or the funniest 30 seconds of a 3:00 video. Save space on your hard drive by keeping only what you want and getting rid of the rest.

How to edit a video.

TRIM VIDEOS
1. From the RealPlayer Library, right click on the video and select “Trim.”
Right Click on your video and select ‘Trim.’
2. In the trimmer window, drag the handles on the video timeline from the beginning and the end to include only the section you want.
Drag the handles to select just the section you want.
3. Preview it, then save your trimmed video.
Trimmer does not take multiple cuts from a video or combine multiple videos. You can, however, trim audio files in the same way.
SAVE STILLS FROM VIDEOS
1. Open the file in the trimmer window.
2. Pause the video at the point where you’d like to capture an image.
3. Hover over the video area and click the “Save Picture” button.
The image is saved as a jpeg at the height and width shown in the trimmer window.
